Seeing my current/former CO has made the decision to stop running a marine department I am looking for a new home for Palacios.

Physical Description:

At the first look her hear springs out first. just hanging to a bit above her shoulders with a part just beside her left eye. But what make it stand out is it teal colour which nature remains a mystery. Overall her body is quite normal bit more muscle than you average person tanks to her marine training and martial arts.Also her dark green eyes stand out against her somewhat pale look and teal coloured hair. Some people say that if she was nicer and looking for it, finding a friend wouldn't be to hard. But she lives for the job.

General Overview:

Can be ice cold in going around with other people but she is working on that and improving fast.Quickly to job into action when needed. But also calm in case of trouble.

Weakness is her cold way of going around with people.

In between: she want to get the job done and her way. She doesn't like to be overruled.

Ambitions:

Do a job and show that marine are not only shooting happy people. But that they can operate with tact and diplomacy when needed. Also she would love to see a more and better public knowledge of the marines and their jobs.Commanding a starship as a marine as show the universe she can handle the job.

Hobbies & Interests:

Her hobbies are forms of martial arts, which require speed and Precision over brute strength. Also she is a fan of many games, mostly mental games with people trying to persuade them or to win a argument. But also tactical card games but cause you have to do it with the card you are given. (don�t play poker with her)

History
Little is know over Serafina before her 12th birthday. Save for the fact that she had a rough childhood and went to basic schooling.

At the age of 12 went to elementary school and remained there for 6 years total peeking out in match and PE also in this area little is know. Serafina did not have a dairy and her dad had a busy job. It was sure that she enjoyed this time of her life and she really started to shine. As on of the few remaining reports of her school say Serafina is a child that stands on her own she doesn't interact with others but seems perfectly happy all the times. Only some around her feel a bit uneasy there is no more information thanks to fire that destroyed the school database.

At the age of 18 she went to the academy as she was suggested many times. Also there she kept pointing out in beta subjects and fiscal exercises. There where a few incident with a Cadet named Jared in the logs. Mostly about a heavily wound Jared moved to sickbay after a encounter with Serafina. She never received any charges because it was clear that she had told him to move away from her and stop hunting her down.

Also at this age she started to explore several forms of martial arts based on speed and precision. One of her masters made a log entry saying the following I have really seen student which such a passion for perfection. And for such a improvisation she merges many forms into one fluent art of combat. If she wanted she could start a new form of martial arts she kept training her own schedule to this day and planning to go on.

At the age of 22 she graduated from the academy. Only her piloting skills had saved her from a failure as her other subjects where very close to a negative mark. Thanks to that she decided to do what she was good in and singed in for marine training the day after her graduation.

Than she started with her marine training. As usual the instructors had made a hell on earth. But thanks to her enormous focus in precision and speed she excels really above all others. Even though her field engineers skills where limited she made up with it for hand to hand combat and small arms combat. To her own saying it was one hell of a time but she enjoyed it.

Than at the age of 26 she left the marine training ground officially holding the rank of private first class. She got 2 assignments at the utopia shipyards in it fighter wing first where she came in command of a squadron at the age of 27.

Shortly after taking command of the squadron she was ordered back to HQ. There she got to hear she would be reassigned to Sigma recon. A small recon squad that operated deep into hostile territory. She was honoured by this assignment and left at once.

Arriving at a small outpost in the gamma quadrant she got to see her squad. All of them specialist on one or more areas. They didn't have much time for a meet and greet as their first mission was soon on its way. They where to eliminate a raider outpost on the Romulan boarder. They where dropped off by what appeared a normal cargo freighter for anyone who scanned it. But once you got onboard it was clear this was a top of the line transport. It is know as the "sleeping dragon" a name given to her by the first marine company to use her.

The mission was a success even though they lost over 27 people on that planet. But that was because of a Intel failure. It took months for the marines to ease down against Intel and more than one report was made about open hostilities. But this also mend that Serafina got promoted to wing leader and to first Lt. at first she wasn't happy with it as she felt there where other more suited. But the marine gave her all the support she needed.

After this they did a lot of small missions all over federation space and beyond when needed. In this time Serafina grew in respect due her ice cold nature. It scared off some higher placed people but the marines liked it. Fitted with the job they said. And so after 1.5 year she got promoted once more and took command over sigma recon. Knowing that job had a dark side. As it was a job with a lot of power due the fact sigma got dropped and left behind till they where done. What went in between was only put on record by the CO of sigma. Therefore people only stayed in command of Sigma for a year to avoid power corruption.

And indeed after a year of difficult and dangerous missions she got promoted and got a temp station till she got reassigned to the Tethys. Of course there was a "shut up" policy about her entire sigma time. She does keep contact now and than with a few people from sigma. But other than that she never talks about it as she is ordered to. If you have been in sigma you stay a sigma marine but only a select few will ever know about that. The media isn't to found of marines already.

At the age of 29.5 she joined the crew off the flag ship of task force 22 of the �Horizon fleet� as commanding officer of its small recon marine detachment. And there she is know already lost here XO on her first mission onboard and trying hard to get a little bit less cold. So the whisky goes pure not on the rocks.

After a 9month stay onboard the USS Tethys the ships CO commdore Iluvar decides that marines onboard his ship pushes it into directions he doesn't want to go and agrees with command to remove the marine department.

Note:

During a marine corps trial It has become the judgement that Major palacios is not to be promoted above her current rank for the next two years. about 20 months remain of this time.

I am looking for a new Marine CO position for her or maybe an XO position depending if you like to have a marine as your second.

I will say in all honesty I am picky in my assignments to be sure I pick a spot where I want to stay and have fun.

Actually, marines can't be XOs. She'd have to become a StarFleet Officer to become an XO.

She may be able to switch to Security tho, take her officer training on the bridge. The Diligence could use a good Chief Security/Tactical Officer. Be a good career change for a marine, possibly safer to

Sorry but In that case only a marine CO seat. It wouldn't fit her at all to switch to fleet.

This one can be removed decided to place her in on the reserve bench.

The USS Xanadu could use a marine CO (or an XO if you decide to make your character join starfleet).

Please make sure to read all of the posts in a topic before posting in it, especially if it is an old topic. Often, as is the case here, the player has either already found a home for their character or dropped the character.

Also, even if it were still relevant, the player has also stated the character wouldn't transfer to the fleet.
